New MK Dons Contract For George Baldock

George Baldock has signed a new contract with MK Dons that should see him at the club until June 2016.

Baldock, who came through the youth system at MK Dons, signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, with an option of a further year, before Saturday’s home League One game against Port Vale at the stadium:mk.

The 20-year-old who’s contract was set to expire at the end of the current season, has successfully made the step up to the first-team squad, making 19 appearances for the side ahead of Vale’s visit to Milton Keynes.

George is the younger brother of Sam Baldock who plays for Bristol City, he made his debut for Milton Keynes Dons on 8 May 2010 coming on as a substitute for Daniel Powell in the 81st minute in the League One clash against Brighton at the Stadium:mk which ended in 0–0 draw.

Boss Karl Robinson told the club’s official website: “George is young, energetic and passionate and can play in a number of different positions. He’s exactly the sort of player I want at this football club and I’m delighted to have secured his services for the foreseeable future.”
