Former Peterborough United and Exeter City striker Richard Logan has joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Bury Town and went straight into the squad who beat Canvey Island 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Logan who turned 31 earlier this month, has signed Ryman League forms with Bury Town after being released by Conference South Club Dorchester Town.

The experienced frontman, parted company with the Magpies this week after he failed to score in his six appearances with Dorchester.

His deal with the Ram Meadow-based team may only be for a couple of matches as he still harbours ambitions of playing professional football and has been invited to train with League Two side Torquay United later this month.

Logan has also previously played for Ipswich Town, Cambridge United (loan), Torquay United (loan), Boston United, Shrewsbury Town (loan), Lincoln City (loan), Weymouth and Wycombe Wanderers.
