Two Williams Sign on For Colwyn Bay

Midfielder Sean Williams will rejoin Colwyn Bay from Skrill Premier side FC Halifax Town and joins Alex Johnson and Keith Briggs in departing the Shaymen over the last week.

The 21-year-old made 25 apperances with Colwyn Bay last season before signing for Halifax in January, but after making an important contribution to the Yorkshire team’s promotion to the Conference Premier, he has been unable to gain a regular place in the Shaymen first team this season.

Bay are trying to get all the paperwork done in time so Williams will be eligible to play for the Seagulls FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie against Corby Town on Saturday.

The former Stockport County man is the second Williams to join the club during recent weeks with Welsh striker Marc Williams added to the squad last week. Marc made 40 appearances in the Football League for Wrexham in the 2005–06 to 2007–08 seasons.
