Pompey Trio Go Out On Loan
Portsmouth have loaned out Dan Butler, Ashley Harris and Nick Awford to Non-league sides Aldershot and Chelmsford City.
Defender Dan Butler has joined The Shots on a month’s loan, the 19-year-old full-back was a regular in the Pompey team over the second half of last season but has since dropped out of favour at the League Two side.
Meanwhile duo Ashley Harris and Nick Awford have both joined Conference South Chelmsford City for a month. Striker Harris, made 29 appearances for Pompey last season but the 19-year-old has yet to break into the first team this season.
Hard-working central-midfielder Awford began his footballing career at Portsmouth’s Academy and has just one late pompey substitute appearance to his name, the 18-year-old son of Pompey legend Andy Awford had a loan spell at Gosport Borough earlier this season.
