Callum Wilson Signs New Coventry Deal

Coventry City’s highly-rated striker Callum Wilson has signed a new contract which keeps him with the League One side until 2015.

After bagged 10 goals in 14 league starts so far this season, Wilson’s exceptional start to the season has earned him a new two-year deal and his new deal also comes with the option of a further 12 months.

The news will be a huge relief to Sky Blues fans as the graduate starts to attract host of admirers with his incredible run of form which sees him joint top of the League One goalscorers table. His partnership with fellow Sky Blues striker Leon Clarke has been extremely profitable so far this season with the pair hitting 19 goals between them.

Boss Steven Pressley is delighted to have tied down the 21-year-old services. “He’s a great kid, he deserves this new deal and we’re absolutely delighted that he has accepted it,” Pressley told the club’s official site.
