Brentford have completed the signing of Cardiff City winger Kadeem Harris on loan until 5th January. The 20-year-old will be added to the Bees squad ahead of the their League One game against Colchester United on Saturday.

Brentford Manager Uwe Rosler told the Bees website: “We knew about Kadeem from when he was at Wycombe and he has developed during his time at Cardiff.

“He offers us something that I have been looking for since we lost Conor McAleny to injury at the end of August.

“We need pace on the flanks. He will give us pace, directness, dribbling ability and will terrorise defences.

“That is what we need to give us another option for our attacking game.”

Harris who was awarded the League Two Apprentice of the Year at the Football League awards in April 2011 once held the record as the youngest player ever to appear for Wycombe in the Football League, after coming on as a substitute for the final 12 minutes in a game against Yeovil Town in December 2009, aged 16 years and 201 days.

On 30 January 2012, Kadeem signed a three-and-half-year contract for then Championship side Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.
